In any game in which a player receives a five minute major penalty, or a player or coach receives a game or gross misconduct penalty, the following procedure must occur:

If a player or coach receives any of the above mentioned penalties they are not allowed to participate in any games (league - tiering, regular season or playoffs, tournament or exhibition) until receiving permission from one of the RMFHL Vice-Presidents. A coach that plays a player that is suspended will be suspended indefinitely by Hockey Alberta pending a meeting. As a general rule, if you are in doubt, do not assume, ask Kathy or Kelsey.
The following Hockey Alberta Minimum Suspension Appendix is used by the RMFHL to assess all suspensions. Repeat offenders may be subject to suspensions above the minimum.
